Assisted living offers housing, hospitality, and personal assistance to adults who can live independently, but require regular assistance with daily activities. It provides scheduled and unscheduled care to bridge the gap between independent living housing and residential care.
Assisted living facilities are registered under the BC Ministry of Health Services’ Assisted Living Registrar, which administers and enforces safety standards, policies, and procedures drafted and supported by the BC Ministry of Health Services. Golden Life delivers the required services for Assisted Living under contract to the Health Authority, and also offers private pay Assisted Living where residents may elect to pay privately for their services.
